Destiny’s Child’s member Kelly Rowland has hinted the group will work on a new album for their reunion. According to her, the album will be used as the follow-up for their comeback world tour next year.
It’s a blessing when we work together. We’re so looking forward to
working with each other again and we just need to find a time in our
diaries when we can get into the studio together. I miss the girls, I
miss being on stage with them,” the singer said.
Destiny’s Child was one of the most popular girl bands some 9 years ago but they announced plans of breaking up in late 2000 to make it possible for all three of the stars, Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to be able to focus on their solo projects. They all debuted their solo albums in 2002-2003 but it’s mostly Beyoncé ’s successful career we’ve so often heard about lately. Will she exchange her own project for getting back with the girls? Time will show.
Destiny’s Child’s ‘I’m a survivor’ is definitely one of their best songs ever.
NEW YORK — New Chris Brown music has been popping up on the web - and the singer is not happy about it.
The 19-year-old is frustrated that fans have been listening to a song called "Electric Guitar" that's supposed to be off his third album, due out next year.
"I'm mad that it's leaked," he told The Associated Press in a recent interview. "The record's not finished. It's supposed to be me and Rihanna's duet."
"Electric Guitar" would be yet another collaboration between Brown and his rumoured girlfriend. He appeared on a remix to her smash hit "Umbrella" last year, and he's listed as a co-writer on her latest No. 1 hit, the dance song "Disturbia."
"It's fun being creative and even if you have a concept in your head to write about, you can write it and give it to someone else because it might not personally fit you, but it might be an idea you have," said Brown. "So with (Rihanna) that was an idea I had. I just wanted to go totally left and kind of weird, and that's what I threw at her."
Brown is still riding high off the success of his second album, "Exclusive," released last year. It was re-released in June with new material, including the song "Forever," which is now No. 2 on the chart, a notch below Rihanna.
"Having the support of my fans on the second round was just incredible, and it's even getting bigger now," he said of his success.
He also said he's working on a new reality show about break-dancing: "We're going to do our thing and have a lot of fun."
Estelle brought a male fan onstage to bump'n'grind with her during her set at Chelmsford's V Festival this afternoon (August 16).
The singer implored security to let the man onstage before she performed her hit single 'American Boy' in the JJB Tent.
Kicking off her set with 'Wait A Minute (Just A Touch)', Estelle was in talkative form throughout the gig, frequently ordering the crowd to dance.
Before 'Magnificent', the star told the audience: "How many women feel like they're the hottest thing on the planet right now? I feel like I'm motherfucking magnificent!"
Estelle also performed songs including her debut single '1980' and recent release 'No Substitute Love'.
